As part of a new initiative to encourage students to focus on their reading, Hale School has formed an e-membership partnership with Cambridge Library.
This partnership will allow students to access a huge variety of eResources including: ebooks, emagazines, eAudiobooks plus a variety of educational databases.
While the e-membership does not allow boys to have full membership (i.e. to borrow physical items from the Library), it is a step towards enhancing greater community engagement, with the prospect, of students becoming lifelong library users
To become a Cambridge Library e-member you need to complete a permission slip signed by your parents and return it to the Library staff.
Book Club is open to all secondary students who enjoy reading and want to share their reading experiences and interests with others, in a group situation.
Book Clubs meets every Tuesday at Recess.
All students are welcome to attend, bring your recess to the meet.

How many items can I borrow? Unlimited Fiction & 2 Non-Fiction items on a topic.
How long can I borrow an item for? 2 weeks.
Can I renew an item? Yes, (if it is not already reserved), at the Circulation desk or through your Oliver Login page.
Can I reserve an item? Yes, at the Circulation desk or through your Oliver Login page.
Can I place an item on hold? Yes, an item can be held for 2 days, see the Library staff member at the Circulation desk.
Can I borrow magazines and newspapers? .These items are available to read in the Library only
